ABOUT THE ROLE
Build and scale the core experience of a real-time retail trading platform. You will own important frontend systems from architecture through performance optimization, working closely with design and backend engineering to make complex market data clear and useful.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain fast, accessible web applications and reusable UI libraries.
- Develop interactive charts and real-time visualizations that support trading decisions.
- Improve application speed and reliability with effective caching and performance techniques.
- Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket streams, and manage robust client-side state.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, previews, testing, and rollbacks.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to ten years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Strong skills in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and WAAPI.
- Experience building latency-sensitive, real-time interfaces, such as trading, gaming, or casino products.
- Hands-on familiarity with trading, or frontend experience at a trading firm or exchange; passive investing or financial-data work alone is not a substitute.
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or Cypress.
- A current GitHub profile showing recent coding and public, live frontend work demonstrating polished visual quality.
- Ability to write production-quality code independently and use AI tools as a complement to core engineering work.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required; TN visa holders are the sole exception.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $185,000 to $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available, except for TN visa holders.
