Our client, a major Federal Government department responsible for agriculture, fisheries, forestry, biosecurity and agricultural trade, are seeking the experience of an Enterprise Architects
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect
- Provide enterprise architecture consulting services across diverse business and technology initiatives, ensuring solutions align with departmental strategies, standards and target-state architectures;
- Deliver architecture assurance services throughout project lifecycles;
- Monitor enterprise technology landscapes, identifying emerging risks, architecture issues, technical debt and opportunities for optimisation;
- Develop and maintain cloud, infrastructure and platform architectures to support scalable, secure and cost-effective technology services;
- Create and maintain technology roadmaps that guide future investment decisions, capability development and technology modernisation initiatives;
- Identify, assess and mitigate technology risks, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose, supportable and aligned with enterprise policies; &
- Contribute to improved investment outcomes by providing evidence-based architecture advice that supports informed decision-making and value-for-money outcome.
Skills and Experience Required
- Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, capability and target-state modelling);
- Architecture governance, assurance and design review;
- Cloud and infrastructure architecture (Azure and hybrid environments);
- Technology roadmap and strategic planning;
- Solution architecture and technical design assessment;
- Protected Domain and security architecture principles;
- Information, records and archive architecture (Content Manager); &
- Technology standards, patterns and reference architectures.
