Jewish Collaborative Services (JCS) is seeking an energetic, mission-driven Volunteer & Internship Program Coordinator to lead and grow volunteer and internship opportunities that directly impact the lives of older adults, families, and community members throughout Rhode Island.
This is more than a volunteer management role. It's an opportunity to serve as a bridge between our programs, community partners, volunteers, interns, and the people who rely on JCS services every day.

Position Summary
The Volunteer & Internship Program Coordinator is a dynamic, people-centered member of JCS's External Relations team. This role oversees all aspects of volunteer and intern engagement, including recruitment, onboarding, training, placement, supervision, recognition, and retention.
The Coordinator also provides direct oversight and support to volunteers participating in the Friendly Visitors Program, helping reduce social isolation and foster meaningful connections for older adults.
In partnership with the Director of External Relations and team, this position supports communications, outreach, and marketing initiatives through content creation, graphic design, storytelling, and community engagement efforts.
