Our client, a major Federal Government department responsible for immigration, citizenship, border security, national security, cyber policy and social cohesion, require the services of a Storage Systems Administrator.
Duties of the Storage Systems Administrator
- Provide support and advice on the Customer’s storage, backup & disaster recovery environment;
- Assist in the execution of plans for installation, configuration, patching, upgrade & testing of ICT infrastructure, including operating systems, virtualisation platforms & enterprise applications;
- Provide a quality assurance role to projects in relation to technical solution design & documentation;
- Liaise with the business in consideration of new capabilities; undertake BAU activities as required;
- Provide skills transfer to all technical staff as specified by the Customer.
Skills and Experience Required
- Dell platform experience is highly regarded, including Isilon, PowerScale and Object Store;
- Knowledge of & experience in Commvault products will be well-regarded.
