Commis Chef - Employees Cafeteria

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and cooking daily meals according to menus and recipes.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Follow food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of food items.
- Assist with stock control and minimize food waste.
- Support the Chef in daily kitchen operations and timely meal service.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school certificate; culinary training is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
