Job Summary:

At Frazier & Deeter, our technology solutions play a critical role in supporting our people, clients, and continued growth. We are seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer to serve as a technical leader responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of internally developed applications, automations, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions. This role combines complex problem-solving, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our technology ecosystem delivers a seamless experience for users across the firm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide front-line senior support for internally built tools, automations, AI-enabled capabilities, integrations, and data workflows.

- Serve as a technical peer to the development team by reviewing logs, diagnosing issues, identifying root cause, and recommending durable fixes.

- Create monitoring, alerting, operational runbooks, and support procedures for production applications and automations.

- Triage user issues, distinguish break-fix support from enhancement requests, and translate recurring issues into requirements for development and business analyst teams.

- Provide white-glove post-cutover support for newly acquired teams after system migrations.

- Mentor the junior Production Support Engineer and establish quality standards for the support function.

- Help protect developer capacity by absorbing support work that the service desk is not positioned to handle.

Education & Experience:

- Senior engineer with 5+ years experience in software development, application support, or integration support.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

- Ability to read logs, troubleshoot APIs, diagnose automation issues, and identify root causes across multiple systems.

- Understanding of AI platforms, automations, Copilot, Claude, APIs, Salesforce, Certinia, or similar enterprise platforms preferred.

- Familiarity with SDLC, defect triage, monitoring, alerting, support documentation, and production support practices.

- Strong written communication skills and ability to document technical issues clearly for developers and business users.

- Ability to operate calmly during post-cutover stabilization and high-pressure support windows.
