The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful execution of Audio-Visual integration projects by applying structured project management practices across all phases of delivery. This role ensures alignment between client expectations, internal teams, and project objectives while maintaining control over scope, schedule, quality, and communication.
The PM leads cross-functional teams, manages project documentation and schedules, and proactively identifies and mitigates risks. This role operates with a high degree of ownership and accountability while collaborating closely with Project Coordinators and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality project outcomes.
ORGANIZATION
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Project Execution & Delivery
- Lead projects through all phases (initiation through closeout) with limited oversight
- Develop and manage project schedules in coordination with stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans to maintain objectives
- Balance competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Lead project meetings and ensure clear, consistent communication
- Prepare and deliver status reports and project updates
- Serve as the primary point of accountability to clients and internal teams
- Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders
- Communicate risks, issues, and decisions in a timely and professional manner
Documentation & Administrative Management
- Maintain project documentation including schedules, meeting minutes, and project artifacts
- Ensure compliance with internal PMO processes and standards
- Manage project folders and documentation systems
- Coordinate with Project Coordinators to ensure documentation accuracy
Resource Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate shared internal resources
- Align staffing needs with project timelines and requirements
- Coordinate travel requirements for project teams as needed
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Manage and resolve issues impacting project delivery
- Escalate critical risks and issues appropriately
- Participate in corrective and preventative action processes
Customer Experience & Quality
- Ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the project lifecycle
- Align deliverables with client expectations and requirements
- Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of project execution
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and efficiency
- Contribute feedback to PMO processes and standards

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Required:
Minimum 2 years of college
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification
Preferred:
- Four-year college degree
- Six Sigma certification(s)
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 5+ years of professional project management experience OR
- Combination of project management experience and AV industry experience
- Working knowledge of construction processes and terminology
- Working knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and lifecycle
Preferred:
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a technical environment
- Experience managing contractors/ partners and cross-matrixed teams
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency in Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experienced in utilizing AI tools to leverage efficiencies into daily workflow
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Ability to pass background requirements for access to client sites
