Safety & Daily Living Skills / Part-Time / Evening Hours / 10-20 hours/week

Location: Providence
Schedule: (Fridays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. & Saturdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) OR (Mondays through Wednesdays from 3 to 7 p.m. & Saturdays from 12 to 6 p.m.)
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Visiting a client’s home three to five days a weekday evenings for a 3-4 hour shift.
o Some cases may require a 3-4 hour shift on Saturday or Sunday morning/afternoon
• Helping a young person to learn necessary daily living, safety, and social skills (e.g. crossing the street, cleaning up after themselves, sharing with others, etc…)
• Coaching family members and caretakers to reinforce clinical strategies consistently
• Documenting behavioral data, shift notes, and client observations
Who We’re Looking For:
• A high school graduate age 18 or older,
• Fluent in Spanish & English,
• With a valid driver’s license, and legal personal vehicle,
• Capable of taking short but detailed and clinically accurate shift notes,
• With a calm, consistent, and patient personality
Candidate must provide a clean background check and permit the agency to run a DCYF clearance check with the state.
