AYN

Director of Product Management, Advertiser Platform

Moloco · Menlo Park, California, United States · New York, New York, United States · Seattle, Washington, United States

About Moloco:

Moloco is an AI-native performance advertising company, bringing the power of AI advertising to the open internet. Founded in 2013 by machine learning engineers who had built AI advertising systems inside the world's largest technology companies, Moloco began from a shared mission: to build that same engine for the open internet.

Today, Moloco is one company with two businesses, built on the same compound AI system. Moloco Ads is our AI-native performance advertising platform, helping mobile app marketers acquire, retain, and re-engage high-value users across the open internet. Moloco Commerce Media is our AI-native retail media platform, enabling retailers and marketplaces to turn their platforms into thriving ad businesses. Both are powered by CARA (Compound Ad Recommendation Architecture), the AI system behind every Moloco product.

At Moloco, we bring together those who've already solved hard problems and those with the drive to. Here, we work on some of the complex problems in AI advertising, at a scale and level of sophistication very few companies can offer. Come build what's next.

The Opportunity:

Moloco is changing how advertisers run their campaigns. Today an advertiser logs into Ads Manager and does the work by hand. We are moving to a model where agents carry the recurring work and advertisers set direction, approve and verify. Some advertisers will do that inside our next-generation Ads Manager. Others will connect their own AI agents to Moloco through the Moloco Ads MCP.

Moloco Ads is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the advertiser platform within AI Platform and Products, the product area that owns our GenAI platforms for employees and for advertisers. This leader will own the strategy, roadmap and execution for:

- NextGen Ads Manager: an AI-first Ads Manager where agents do the recurring work of a campaign inside the product and the advertiser approves and verifies.

- Moloco Ads MCP: the interface advertisers connect their own AI to, with write actions phased in from read-only to live campaign changes.

- Parity between the two: every agentic workflow runs in Ads Manager and through the MCP, on the same components and permissions.

You will lead the product managers for both products, partner with the engineering group that builds them, work closely with the product design team, and work with the core product teams that own the campaign logic your products deliver. You build on the agentic platform we already run for our own employees, so what works for a Growth Manager can reach an advertiser.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 10+ years of product management experience at B2B software or ad tech companies, including 3+ years managing product managers.

- Owned a customer-facing product end to end, strategy through launch, with a track record of shipping to paying customers.

- Shipped production AI agents or LLM-powered features to external customers and drove their adoption. Prototypes alone do not meet this bar.

- Owned an API or developer-facing product through its lifecycle: versioning, permissions, documentation and deprecation.

- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-org alignment, influence senior stakeholders in product, engineering and sales, and hold a roadmap against competing asks.

- Defined and reported outcome measures, not adoption alone, and can explain technical trade-offs to a sales leader and customer requirements to an engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with advertising platforms, DSPs or campaign management tools, and with the jobs advertisers do every day.

- Hands-on experience with LLM-based agents, MCP or similar tool-calling patterns, evaluation practices, and the guardrails agents need to act on live systems.

- Moved a product from a UI-first model to an API-first or agent-first model.

- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical or quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

The Impact You'll Be Contributing to Moloco:

- Define the vision for an AI-first Ads Manager and the Moloco Ads MCP, and build a roadmap by advertiser job: campaign creation, creative operations, reporting and optimization.

- Take the first Ads Manager agents from beta to general availability, and phase in MCP write actions with Growth Managers using each phase before advertisers do.

- Keep Ads Manager and the MCP at parity: when a workflow launches in one, commit to a date for the other.

- Make agents safe to trust. Each workflow moves from recommendation to approval to delegation within limits, and every agent action is explained, logged and reversible.

- Build on the shared platform rather than a second version, and return anything reusable across advertisers and employees to it.

- Lead and grow the product team, and work with design on one experience across both products.

- Measure outcomes: task time for the four core advertiser jobs, spend through agent-assisted paths and campaign outcomes. Usage is a leading indicator only.
