- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification

- Experience working with patients/residents and modified diets is preferred.

Duties:

- Plan menus for various age groups and health issues.

- Accurately calculate calories, protein, and fluid needs on nutrient analysis sheets.

- Maintain weight graphs.

- Inform dietitian of nutrient-related concerns.

- Collect/document accurate nutrition information for assessments and follow-up.

- Actively participate in care plan meetings.

- Maintain daily menu items and substitutions.

- Update changes in patient/resident diet orders, food preferences, etc.

- Maintain patient/resident weight loss records and record monthly.

- Visit all new residents to individualize meal needs and preferences.

- Communicate with all ages of patients/residents as well as their family members.
