ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a lean engineering team building software for construction and field services businesses. You will take ownership of complex, customer-facing products that connect workforce, financial, and operational workflows, helping contractors run their businesses more effectively.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the design and implementation of full-stack product features from technical planning through delivery.
- Build and improve frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and modular infrastructure and services.
- Work closely with product teammates and customers to understand needs, shape solutions, and gather feedback.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical partners.
- Contribute to engineering practices and reusable building blocks that support reliable, high-quality product development.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Four to nine years of software engineering experience, including a Senior-level title and a direct technical foundation.
- Full-stack experience building complex products, with balanced strength across frontend UIs, backend APIs, and infrastructure.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and related technologies.
- Experience in a high-growth startup with a strong engineering culture; construction technology or vertical SaaS experience is relevant.
- A product-minded approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to contribute to product and strategic decisions.
- A decisive, resourceful mindset and a track record of owning projects through delivery.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $200,000 to $240,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California, or New York City, New York.
