IT Desktop Support Analyst
Davidson is proud to be partnering with Iberdrola Australia on the VNI West Project - A nationally significant transmission project supporting Australia's clean energy transition.
As the project continues to progress, we are seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technology support to the Melbourne-based team.
This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend, based onsite in Melbourne. You'll work closely with other IT support analysts to provide end-user computing (EUC) and broader IT support across a complex national technology environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across end-user computing, Microsoft technologies, hardware, software and applications.
You will be a key point of contact for users onsite, managing support requests through ServiceNow while also assisting with broader infrastructure and networking requirements when needed.
Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
· Providing Level 1 and Level 2 desktop and end-user support
· Troubleshooting hardware, software, application and connectivity issues
· Managing and resolving support requests through ServiceNow
· Supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other ICT equipment
· Supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Intune and Azure environments
· Assisting with infrastructure and network-related issues when required
Keys skills to be successful in this role:
· 3+ years' experience in Desktop Support, IT Support or a similar position
· Strong experience across Microsoft technologies and Office 365
· Strong hardware, software and general troubleshooting capability
· Experience with ticketing/service management platforms, ideally ServiceNow
· Exposure to infrastructure and networking support
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· PowerShell experience would be advantageous
