Senior Product Manager - Internal Operations Experience
Reports to: Group Product Manager (Core Platform & AI)
Location: Dubai
Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the tools our own people use to keep Sokin and its clients safe, compliant and well served. At Sokin, we are building a world-class product team that can help us remove the borders, barriers and burdens from global business.
Product Management at Sokin is all about creating and delivering an ambitious roadmap with your team and working continuously with clients and stakeholders to ensure your product is driving real value for our customers and the business.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be part of something challenging and transformative, someone who wants to play a critical role in driving our success.
We place a high value on curiosity. The best Product Managers here are endlessly inquisitive about our customers, our data and how money really moves.
About Us
Sokin is a next-generation B2B financial services provider, enabling businesses to make and receive global payments with greater speed, lower cost, and total transparency.
Our mission is simple: we're simplifying global business - so businesses thrive wherever they choose to grow. We deliver this across:
- Global payments and receivables
- Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Treasury management
- Finance reconciliations
We are expanding rapidly with an established presence across EMEA, APAC and North America. Backed by strong global infrastructure and industry-leading partners, we're redefining how businesses move money around the world.
Our clients span industries from sports and entertainment to logistics and travel, and our community is growing fast. We're building a team of exceptional people who share our ambition to transform the future of global payments.
As our Senior Product Manager, Internal Operations Experience
Once a client is live, a great deal of Sokin's work happens behind the scenes: monitoring transactions, working alerts, answering client questions, resolving exceptions, reporting to regulators and partners, and learning from what clients tell us. The quality of the internal tools behind that work decides how safe, fast and scalable Sokin can be. We treat the people who use those tools as users in their own right.
You'll own the product for that internal experience: compliance and internal reporting, transaction monitoring, the support and operations console, client feedback management, and crypto compliance (screening, Travel Rule and wallet monitoring). Your task is to give analysts, support agents and operators one place to see what they need, decide quickly, and record why, so that they stop acting as the integration layer between systems and can focus on the work that needs judgement.
This is a new team and a senior role with a broad remit. You'll start on your own and, as the scope grows, we expect to add a Product Manager to your team. Your product boundary is clear: everything from the moment a client is live belongs to you, while the onboarding journey and the compliance analyst's onboarding case work belong to the Get Set Up & Build group, and you will work closely with them on the shared analyst view.
Your role as a Senior Product Manager at Sokin:
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Sokin's internal operations experience, aligned to the Run Sokin objectives
- Define the support and operations console as a single place to see the state of a client, a payment or a case, and to act on it
- Own compliance and internal reporting, including the evidence regulators, banking partners and auditors ask for, and the ability to produce it quickly
- Own transaction monitoring and continuous-monitoring alerts after go-live, including the quality of alerts and the time an analyst needs to decide on one
- Own the crypto compliance tooling experience: transaction and wallet screening, Travel Rule information exchange and ongoing wallet monitoring, working with the stablecoin product owner
- Build a client feedback management process and tool so that what clients tell us reaches Product with evidence attached
- Run structured research with analysts, Support and Operations (shadowing, session harvests and data) to find where their jobs are least well served
- Define and track metrics: time from alert to documented decision, systems visited per case, manual work per exception, escalations for information rather than action, and false positives per analyst day
- Work from Sokin's Jobs to Be Done catalogue: describe the jobs Sokin's analysts, agents and operators hire your product for, the outcomes that matter, and the evidence behind them, and keep that picture current
- Work with Platform Services on identity, permissions, approval rules and audit, and with the Data and Core Platform teams so that internal tools share one source of truth
We'd love to hear from you if:
- You have 6+ years in product management, including experience building internal, operations, compliance or back-office tooling, ideally in payments, banking or another regulated industry
- You understand compliance operations: transaction monitoring, sanctions and screening, case management, multi-jurisdictional regulatory reporting, and, ideally, crypto compliance and the Travel Rule
- You can design for expert users: you enjoy shadowing, finding the workarounds people have invented and replacing them with something better
- You're analytical and measure the effect of a tool in analyst minutes, error rates and cases cleared, not just features shipped
- You're comfortable working with compliance, risk, legal and operations stakeholders, and can balance their needs with those of clients
- You own your roadmap and can identify problems, make decisions and drive things forward without waiting to be managed
- You have enough technical depth to work closely with engineers on integrations with third-party monitoring, screening and case platforms
- You're curious about how AI can take on routine case work under human oversight
- Curious and inquisitive: you ask why before you build, dig into the data and the customer's real situation, follow questions past the first answer, and are never satisfied with 'that's how it has always been done'.
- Comfortable using AI in your role: you use AI tools as a matter of course to research, draft, analyse and prototype at speed, and you stay fully accountable for the result. AI is a tool that sharpens your judgement and never replaces it: you check what it gives you, and the thinking stays yours.
Please note, candidates will need to have the right to work in the jurisdiction that they are looking to work in.
Sokin is an equal opportunities employer and committed to maintaining an inclusive work environment. As a growing global startup with bases across multiple countries, we were established on and continue to promote an agile, flexible working culture.
