Summary

The Manager, Supply Chain Operations provides operational leadership and daily governance over an assigned warehouse, facility site, or specific logistics business line. Operating under general direction, this role is responsible for executing localized supply chain strategies to guarantee safe operations, strict quality control, and optimal on-time delivery performance. The Manager directly supervises warehouse supervisors, leads, and technicians, coordinates standard work execution, monitors site-level KPIs, and maintains strict local audit readiness. What You'll Need

- Daily Operations & Standard Work Governance: Lead day-to-day warehouse floor, processing, or kitting operations utilizing SQDCP tier meetings and visual management. Enforce strict adherence to safety compliance, quality standards, and customer delivery commitments (OTIF and cycle time). Maintain and audit standard work, SOPs, and employee training logs across receiving, storage, and shipping lanes.

- Frontline Leadership, Coaching & Culture: Supervise, mentor, and allocate daily workloads for a team of operations supervisors, leads, and technicians. Oversee personnel performance evaluations, track employee development matrices in TPS/Lean methodologies, manage shift resource schedules, and foster an engaged, safe workplace culture.

- Site Performance Metrics & KPI Ownership: Monitor, report, and optimize localized site KPIs, including safety incident rates, dock-to-stock times, order accuracy (DPPM), inventory cycle-count compliance, and freight cost metrics. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement localized countermeasures to control labor costs and overtime.

- Continuous Improvement & Root-Cause Analysis: Lead localized problem-solving initiatives using standard lean methodologies (A3, 5-Why, and fishbone structures). Coordinate localized Kaizen events to optimize facility layouts, improve material picking/packaging flow, eliminate waste, and implement error-proofing controls on the floor.

- Cross-Functional Alignment & Audit Readiness: Partner actively with internal Purchasing, Sales, QA, and Trade Compliance teams to review customer requirements and resolve delivery deviations. Oversee on-site compliance logs (including basic documentation, CTPAT practices, and hazmat handling rules) to preserve constant site audit readiness.

- Systems & Supply Chain Technology Execution: Direct the disciplined day-to-day usage of localized WMS, TMS, and ERP (SAP) systems among floor staff. Monitor scanning, barcoding, and EDI transaction data loops to safeguard inventory tracking data integrity and eliminate manual system entry errors.
