The City of Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the 2027 seasonal position of Aquatic Crew Leader (Concessions) at Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center.
The Concessions Crew Leader reports to the Aquatic Assistant Operations Manager. This position plays an integral role in the fulfillment of Miamisburg Parks and Recreations’ mission and vision. The Concessions Crew Leader is responsible for the daily on-site supervision of their assigned operational area. Individuals will be visible and active in concessions areas to support staff and offer proactive customer service.
The Concessions Crew Leader is responsible for coordinating staff to maintain appropriate operations, promote safety, and play an active role in customer support and service. This position plays a valuable role in assisting team members to meet the various needs of facility patrons. The Concessions Crew Leader also provides rule and policy enforcement, report completion, emergency action procedure activation, cleaning, and inventory assistance while performing other duties as assigned at the Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center.
Compensation
Compensation for this position is $14.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on qualifications (DOQ).

The Concessions Crew Leader will be thoroughly committed to Miamisburg Parks and Recreation mission. All candidates should have a desire to learn and uphold Sycamore Trail Aquatic Center Policy. The Concessions Crew Leader must be comfortable talking to patrons and working as a team. The Concessions Crew Leader must desire to conduct themselves in a respectful and positive manner to promote the highest quality customer experience possible.
The Concessions Crew Leader must have a thorough understanding of computing systems, point of sale systems and the ability to learn new software and practice quickly. They must promote positive and proactive customer service as their teams are the first point of contact for all patrons. They must have excellent math/reasoning skills and the ability to solve problems and improvise. The Concessions Crew Leader is expected to assist in leading monthly staff in-services as well as completing staff performance evaluations. Two (2) seasons experience as a cashier, food service worker, or similar customer service role is preferred but not required. This position requires the completion of Red Cross Lifeguard* or First Aid/CPR* training within 30 days of the start of employment.
*Must maintain certification as a condition of employment.
