Summary of Position:
- Responsible for all departmental activities concerning the ordering and maintaining of supplies needed for the operation of the facility.
- Responsible for all the equipment and supplies that enter or leave the facility (except for the Maintenance Department).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains a good working relationship with vendors to utilize them for the best service possible.
- Maintains a good working relationship with all facility department heads to ensure their inventory needs are met.
- Help to oversee centralized procurement of all supplies, equipment, and services for the facility and maintain appropriate records to indicate purchases made and supplies received.
- Help with maintaining a database for inventory and supplies, within the storeroom.
- Helps in conducting monthly inventory counts of supplies for all departments.
- Help to resolve problems concerning overdue orders or incorrect shipments.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Finance Office Manager or the Administrator.
QAPI
- Recognize your role as part of the QAPI efforts of your organization.
- Attend trainings to build understanding and capacity to undertake QAPI work.
- Carry out QAPI roles and responsibilities as assigned.
- Follow established policies and procedures in support of QAPI efforts.
- Look for and share with leadership ideas for improvement in the organization.
- Communicate to leadership upon witnessing a positive outcome of a QAPI project or detecting barriers preventing project success.
- Support QAPI efforts both verbally and non-verbally (i.e., via actions and attitude), including adjusting performance and practice in accordance with QAPI initiatives and findings.
