Business Platforms sits inside Data & Platforms and reports to the Director, Data & Platforms. Our team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and engineers—employees, onshore contractors, and nearshore partners—builds and runs the systems behind our revenue engine and customer experience across Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Contracts.

About The Role:

We are hiring a Business Platforms Manager to lead and grow our Salesforce team and oversee operations, security, and system integration across our business platforms—Salesforce plus HubSpot, Gong, Highspot, DocuSign, Rocketlane, and Qualtrics. You own Salesforce architecture, development, implementation, and operations from end to end.

This is a player-coach role. You lead a blended team, stay hands-on in code and design reviews, and step in on complex problems to keep work moving. You trust your specialists and never become a single point of failure.

You treat Salesforce as a long-term enterprise platform, not a collection of one-off features. You ship reliable solutions on schedule, resolve technical debt as you go, and keep the platform running cleanly as LINQ grows.

Primary Objectives:

- Keep Salesforce and the connected platforms—HubSpot, Gong, Highspot, DocuSign, Rocketlane, and Qualtrics—secure, stable, and reliable for Marketing, Sales, Contracts, Accounting, and Customer Support.

- Deliver Salesforce and connected-platform enhancements, integrations, and implementations on time, with quality, and with measurable business results.

- Build and lead a high-performing team of employees, contractors, and nearshore engineers, and earn trust as the business’s go-to technology partner.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Lead, mentor, and grow the administrators, developers, engineers, and platform specialists who run Salesforce and our connected business platforms across onshore and nearshore locations and time zones. Recruit, hire, onboard, and run 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development.

- Set clear goals, SLAs, and quality standards for the team and its vendors. Run the team on Agile/Scrum with a focus on throughput, and manage consulting partners, software vendors, contractors, and statements of work.

- Oversee day-to-day operations of Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Highspot, DocuSign, Rocketlane, and Qualtrics. Own platform health, availability, performance, and data integrity, and lead incident, problem, and change management, including root-cause analysis.

- Deliver the architecture and solutions behind the Business Platform technologies that support critical business functions such as marketing, sales, contract management, accounting, and customer support, including the data model and security model.

- Lead Salesforce development and implementation. Stay hands-on in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce APIs, and enforce coding standards, code review, and secure development practices.

- Lead implementation of new capabilities and platforms from requirements through go-live, including configuration, data migration, testing, training, and hypercare.

- Architect, build, and oversee integrations between Salesforce and the other business platforms, plus ERP/finance and billing, identity management, product applications, and the enterprise data platform, using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware. Monitor integration health and maintain error handling, retry, and recovery procedures.

- Own security across Salesforce and every connected platform: least-privilege access, role hierarchy, sharing model, field-level security, Shield encryption, audit trails, and periodic access reviews. Support privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements (e.g., SOC 2, FERPA, state privacy laws) with Security and Data Governance.

- Own release management and DevOps: Git-based source control, SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, release calendar, deployment standards, and rollback plans. Lead unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, and track vendor release cycles for the other platforms.

- Manage sandboxes and environments, seasonal releases, licenses, user provisioning, permission sets, platform cost, logging, monitoring, and alerting across all platforms. Keep runbooks, configuration documentation, and data flow diagrams current.

- Partner with business leaders in Marketing, Sales, Contracts, Accounting, and Customer Support to turn needs into working solutions. Lead requirements discovery, solution design workshops, and user acceptance testing.

- Drive adoption through training and release communications, and own data quality across platforms, including deduplication, merges, and account/contact alignment.

- Review designs, approve solutions, and make build vs. buy vs. configure calls that keep delivery moving. Take a declarative-first (Flow-first) approach, with custom code where it earns its place.

- Put AI capabilities such as Agentforce, Einstein, and Data Cloud into production where they deliver clear business value.

- Provide occasional after-hours support for releases and critical incidents.

What We Are Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- 6+ years of Salesforce experience across architecture, development, and operations, including 4+ years of hands-on development.

- 2+ years of direct people leadership managing Salesforce administrators, developers, or engineers, including blended teams of employees, contractors, and offshore/nearshore resources.

- Proven Salesforce architecture experience designing multi-cloud solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
