Your RoleAs a member of our Waiting Team, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service, ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
🍽️ Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive, and professional service.
🥂 Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
🍷 Serving food, wine, and other beverages to a high standard.
✨ Setting up tables, preparing dining areas, and maintaining excellent presentation standards.
😊 Building positive relationships with guests and responding to their needs throughout service.
🍴 Clearing and resetting tables efficiently between courses and sittings.
💷 Handling customer transactions and operating till systems where required.
🏃 Working efficiently during busy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and event services.
🤝 Supporting colleagues and working closely with kitchen and bar teams.
🧹 Following all food hygiene, allergen awareness, health and safety, and venue procedures.
What We're Looking For✔ Previous waiting-on experience within hotels, restaurants, weddings, events, or similar hospitality environments.
✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
✔ A professional appearance, friendly personality, and positive attitude.
✔ Confidence working in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
✔ Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
✔ Good knowledge of food and beverage service, including basic wine service.
✔ Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and busy event periods.
✔ Your own reliable transport to and from shifts is essential, as some venues may not be accessible by public transport, particularly during early starts or late finishes.
