ABOUT THE ROLE
Own product development end to end at a growth-stage SaaS company serving merchants. You will identify customer problems, shape product decisions, build polished experiences, and ship improvements directly to production.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Take features from problem definition through frontend and backend implementation to production.
- Speak with customers, review session replays, and use firsthand feedback to understand their needs.
- Make product and user-flow decisions, not just implementation choices.
- Build considered, high-quality interfaces and maintain a codebase that is welcoming to future engineers.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Four to eight years of product engineering experience, with a track record of independently owning features from problem definition through launch.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, including ownership of both frontend and backend work.
- Strong product and UI craft, with examples of thoughtful interface design.
- Experience at a growth-stage startup; venture-backed startup experience is preferred.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and familiarity with e-commerce or commerce platforms are valued.
- A computer science degree or equivalent strong CS fundamentals, and experience in engineering environments with high standards.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Equity details were not provided. Visa sponsorship is not available.
