We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to be a part of GetGround's Legal, Risk & Compliance function, providing practical and commercially focused legal, regulatory and compliance advice across the business as we scale.

You'll be advising on commercial contracts, product questions, partnership arrangements, regulatory matters, and managing disputes.. You’ll also be involved in a number of strategic projects - helping to strengthen the Legal, Risk & Compliance function in line with GetGround’s business strategy. You'll be a trusted partner to teams across the business and a key part of how we manage legal, regulatory and compliance risk day-to-day.

THE OPPORTUNITY

GetGround operates at the intersection of fintech, proptech and wealthtech. We have £2Bn+ in assets on platform, 30,000+ users across 70 countries, and a portfolio of regulated products spanning mortgages, property management, and investment tools. We are the first end-to-end real estate investment offering, making the dream of owning property accessible to everyone, globally. We're building the future of asset ownership and in doing so, helping to address wealth inequality.

As we continue to grow, our legal, risk and compliance needs are growing with us. You'll play a central role in keeping the business legally sound, moving quickly, and operating with integrity. For a lawyer who wants to work on genuinely varied, interesting matters in a collaborative and supportive environment, this is a strong opportunity.

- A high level of attention to detail, and superior legal drafting skills

- Strong commercial legal skills, with experience drafting and negotiating contracts in a fast-paced environment

- Strong litigation and regulatory investigation experience, with superior organisation, project management and document management skills

- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn and pick up new areas of law quickly

- A strong risk radar and commercial mindset; you give practical advice, not just legal analysis

- The confidence to work autonomously and manage your own workload without close supervision
