Job Summary:
RevSpring is seeking an individual who would be a good fit with our culture as well as having the skills, desire, and enthusiasm to excel in the UI Developer role. To ensure success in this role, the candidate should have extensive knowledge of theoretical software engineering, be proficient in the technologies identified below, and have excellent communication and time management skills. Candidate should possess the ability to build a streamlined application to company specifications that meet the needs of the user.
Essential Functions:
Developing New Functionality, Maintaining and Enhancing Existing Systems - We develop and maintain multiple systems, some for internal use and others for use by our customers and partners. The UI Developer will apply their creativity and technical skills to improving these systems and interfaces by contributing to the design and in developing new software components. The developer will make complex technical and design decisions and can expect to mentor junior developers in doing the same.
The primary front-end technologies that are used on our projects are as follows: Angular, NgRx, RxJS, Server-Side Events (SSE), Module Federation, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML. UI frameworks in use are Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS.
The types of activities the Lead Front End Developer will be responsible for will be as follows:
- Add features to product offerings - Add functionality to our products that will provide value to our customers or partners. Primary focus will be on user interfaces, including both customer-facing and internal-use subsystems. Contributing to product analysis and design will be an important part of this role.
- Work with REST APIs – part of our services includes REST endpoints that are used by our customers and partners. The successful candidate will write code that will interact with APIs that we have written internally or are exposed by internal and external partners or 3rd party vendors. The candidate is expected to suggest and contribute to the design of new APIs as they become needed.
- Improving quality – contribute to continual improvement of the quality of the solution. This may include suggesting and implementing an automated test framework that is appropriate for the environment.
- Support Escalations – Production software will require maintenance, and such requests will come in the form of escalations from our support team. When called upon, the candidate should be able to effectively troubleshoot problems and propose/implement solutions. To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This job requires being available after hours periodically to address urgent issues.
Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
- Knowledge of Server-Side Events (SSE) and Module Federation is a plus
- Candidate must have familiarity and experience using a source code control system, such as GitHub
- Knowledge of UX principles, and especially a working knowledge of Adobe XD is a plus.
- Must have excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills.
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills are required.
- Ability to multi-task and to be detail-oriented is required.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree
Experience: 3+ years experience using Angular or NodeJS, RxJS, NgRx, CSS and Javascript in cross-browser compatible code.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
