Role: Contract Demand Generation Specialist (Full-Time)
Location: Remote (Based in Germany - Fluent in German and English)
About Canto
Canto is a leader in digital asset management (DAM), helping global brands maximize the value of their digital content with an intuitive, AI-powered platform. Our solutions make it easy for businesses to centralize, organize, and share digital assets, streamlining workflows and driving real business impact.
With a legacy of innovation, from launching one of the first DAM solutions to advancing AI Visual Search and unified DAM+PIM capabilities, we continue to shape the future of content management. Headquartered in Atlanta, with offices in Berlin and Cork, Canto supports teams worldwide.
The opportunity
Canto is the DAM platform that helps marketing and creative teams stop wasting time hunting for files and start doing what they're actually good at: creating great content.
We continue to grow in Europe and look to continue to establish our presence in the DACH market. That's why we're bringing on a contract Demand Generation Specialist to own our lead flow in the region. You know the German-speaking market, you live and breathe paid channels, and you get genuinely excited about moving the pipeline needle.
This is a contract role. You'll work remotely from Germany, report directly to Andrew Hall (Sr. Director, Demand Gen & Partnerships), and have real ownership over DACH results from day one.
What you'll do
- Grow DACH MQL volume: hit regional lead targets by activating and scaling the right mix of paid and organic channels
- Build and run paid media campaigns: own Google Ads and paid social (LinkedIn, Meta) for DACH end-to-end, from setup to optimization to reporting
- Establish Canto's organic visibility in the region: improve SEO and GEO rankings for key DACH search terms, including AI-powered search results
- Move pipeline, not just leads: produce or localize content that takes prospects from awareness to consideration, not just fills the top of the funnel
- Own the DACH demand gen number: work closely with Sales and SDRs to make sure MQLs are qualified, handed off cleanly, and tracked through to opportunity
- Surface insights that shape strategy: bring data to the table and make clear recommendations on where Canto should invest more (and where to stop)
What you'll bring
Must have
- Hands-on experience running paid search and paid social campaigns independently. You know Google Ads and LinkedIn/Meta inside out, not just in theory
- A track record of hitting demand gen targets. You've owned an MQL or pipeline number before and you know what it takes to hit it
- Real DACH market experience. You understand German-speaking buyers, know the landscape, and have run campaigns that actually worked in the region
- B2B SaaS or tech marketing background. You understand complex buying cycles, longer sales processes, and what makes a qualified lead in a software business
- German and English fluency, written and spoken. You can work comfortably in both
- SEO and/or GEO experience. You've worked on organic search strategy before, and you're curious about how AI search is changing the game
- Content localization experience. You've adapted global assets for German-speaking audiences and know the nuance that makes the difference
- Practical AI fluency. You already use AI tools in your daily work, for example to draft and localize ad copy, speed up keyword and GEO research, and analyze campaign data, and you can tell when the output needs a native speaker's edit
What success looks like
In the first 30 days, you'll get under the hood: audit our current DACH channel presence, get campaigns live or a clear plan in place, and align with Sales on what a good lead actually looks like.
By 60 days, paid campaigns are generating consistent MQL volume and you're running your first experiments. By 90 days, DACH targets are on track, and you're bringing clear data on what's working.
