Located on Queensway, the Bayswater Arms welcomes a mix of local customers and visitors, offering a friendly atmosphere, great pub food and a fantastic place to socialise. What you'll be doing
As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to keep the pub running smoothly, inspire your team and deliver an experience that keeps customers coming back.
- Lead and inspire your team: Motivate, develop and support your people to be their best every day.
- Deliver exceptional service: Put customers first and make sure every guest enjoys a warm welcome and great experience.
- Drive pub performance: Support sales, profitability and operational standards while spotting opportunities to grow the business.
- Keep things running smoothly: Take ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards across the pub.
- Develop future talent: Coach your team, recognise potential and help create opportunities for career progression.
- Work as one team: Partner with the General Manager to build a positive culture where everyone feels supported and valued.
What we're looking for

- Experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.
- A natural leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team.
- A customer-first approach with a passion for delivering great service.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to drive sales and performance.
- The confidence to make decisions, solve problems and take ownership.
- A positive, hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
