What You'll do:
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases
- Write complex SQL queries for retrieving and processing data.
- Create and maintain Stored Procedures (SPs) and SQL Functions.
- Perform database/query tuning — making slow queries and procedures run faster.
- Analyze existing SQL code and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Help optimize Stored Procedures and queries used by applications.
- Work with the development/IT teams when database issues affect applications.
- Potentially participate in DevOps processes, such as deployments, CI/CD pipelines, version control and automated database releases.
- Work in a hybrid model, being in the Lisbon office 2 days per week.
What You Are:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Management Informatics, or a similar area.
- At least 3 years of SQL Server experience.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience creating Stored Procedures and Functions.
- Ability to write advanced/complex queries.
- Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning.
- Good English and Portuguese.
