Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant with a strong background in accounting and financial management, preferably in the beverages, food production, F&B, or food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, cash flow, and cost control.
- Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and cost of goods sold.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, ZATCA requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Supervise the accounting team and improve financial processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in beverages, food production, F&B, or food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, inventory accounting, and cost control.
- Good understanding of Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Saudi Arabia work experience is preferred.
