Product Manager – Capitalstream | Lending & Leasing
Linedata is seeking an experienced Product Manager to help drive the strategy, evolution, and growth of Capitalstream, our lending and leasing platform.
As part of Linedata’s Lending & Leasing business line, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the product by translating customer needs, market trends, and commercial opportunities into a clear product roadmap. You will work closely with clients, Engineering, Sales, Implementation, Support, and Marketing to deliver solutions that create measurable value for our customers and support Linedata’s broader business objectives.

Your Impact and Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Own and help drive the product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for Capitalstream.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer needs through client engagement, market research, product usage, and industry trends.
- Translate customer requirements and commercial opportunities into clear product requirements, features, and priorities.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, market demand, strategic importance, and revenue opportunity.
- Assess the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to strengthen Capitalstream’s market position.
- Support short- and long-term product planning, forecasting, and business analysis for leadership.
- Identify opportunities to turn custom development, consulting engagements, and value-added processes into scalable product capabilities.
Product Development and Execution
- Partner closely with Engineering, Development, and Quality Assurance throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Define clear product and feature requirements and ensure alignment across business and technical stakeholders.
- Provide direction and prioritization to development and QA teams for product enhancements and new capabilities.
- Work with Engineering to understand technical challenges, evaluate potential solutions, and develop specifications that address customer and product needs.
- Prioritize and manage product releases, including enhancement packages and hotfixes.
- Help drive the continued evolution of Capitalstream from traditional on-premise deployment models toward modern SaaS-based solutions.
- Work with technical teams to support modern DevOps, CI/CD, build, and deployment practices.
- Maintain a strong focus on product quality, usability, scalability, and customer experience.
Customer and Market Engagement
- Serve as a product subject matter expert for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build a deep understanding of lending and leasing workflows, customer pain points, and evolving market requirements.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, validate priorities, and identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Partner with Sales and client-facing teams to support strategic opportunities and communicate the Capitalstream value proposition.
- Provide product training and enablement to Sales, Implementation Services, Development, Quality Assurance, and Support teams.
- Support Marketing in the development and launch of new product capabilities and offerings.
Partnerships and Ecosystem
- Evaluate potential partnerships, integrations, and licensing opportunities that enhance the Capitalstream platform.
- Build and support relationships with key technology, systems, content, and integration partners.
- Collaborate with external partners to help create more comprehensive solutions for lending and leasing clients.
- Contribute to product documentation, including user and administration materials for new capabilities.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
We are looking for a commercially minded Product Manager who combines lending industry knowledge with strong product management, technology, and stakeholder leadership skills.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of Product Management experience within a technology or software organization.
- 5+ years of experience working with loan origination, business lending, consumer lending, equipment finance, leasing, or related lending technology solutions.
- Strong experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into product strategy, roadmaps, and actionable product requirements.
- 3+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies and product development tools such as Jira.
- Experience working closely with Engineering, Development, and Quality Assurance teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of SaaS architecture and modern software delivery models.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and deployment practices.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and execution skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and hands-on execution.
- Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel approximately 5–10% as needed.
Preferred
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Demonstrated experience helping migrate or transform an on-premise software product into a SaaS-based offering.
- Experience working with commercial lending, equipment finance, loan origination, or lending workflow platforms.
- Experience developing product business cases, forecasts, competitive analyses, and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience working directly with financial institutions and senior business and technology stakeholders.
