The role of Full Stack Java Developer focuses on the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of internet-facing Commercial Cards applications within the Cards Service Domain. The consultant is responsible for designing and implementing new functionalities while ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of business-critical applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Develop and enhance microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams to deliver business value.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities through various security assessments.
- Drive secure coding practices and contribute to improving security posture.
- Support CI/CD processes with tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and implementations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of Full Stack Java development experience with proven ability to test changes.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Angular and Angular Material.
- Experience with Kafka and SQL databases.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience in banking, cards, or payments domain.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms.
- DevSecOps and vulnerability management experience.
- Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring.
- Technical mentoring and coaching experience.
