Role Overview

Kroll is seeking a Senior Manager to establish and expand its Sensitive Data Review capability across EMEA within Discovery & Analytics Solutions. This client-facing leadership role will oversee complex engagements, build scalable regional delivery capabilities, and drive business development among insurers, law firms, cyber incident response professionals, and corporate clients. The individual will develop trusted client relationships, ensure commercially disciplined and profitable delivery, and partner with global practice leadership to expand Kroll’s presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end sensitive data review engagements, from intake and scoping through workflow design, review execution, quality control, reporting, and close-out.

- Serve as a primary client contact and trusted advisor for strategic EMEA matters, managing expectations, risks, decisions, and communications.

- Translate legal, regulatory, privacy, and notification requirements into clear review protocols and defensible operational workflows.

- Develop strong cross-functional relationships across Kroll’s Cyber Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Discovery, Investigations, and other relevant practices. Coordinate with regional and global teams to identify sensitive data review requirements early, generate internal referrals, and strengthen end-to-end cyber incident response delivery.

- Oversee staffing, reviewer performance, productivity, quality metrics, budgets, timelines, and escalations across concurrent matters.

- Manage engagement financial performance through disciplined scoping, budgeting, resource planning, vendor cost management, revenue forecasting, and margin monitoring. Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and profitability while maintaining client service standards and alignment with global practice financial objectives.

- Support matters involving GDPR and other applicable regional privacy requirements, including cross-border and multilingual workflows.

- Establish and continuously improve the EMEA Sensitive Data Review delivery model through standardized workflows, regional resource planning, quality assurance protocols, technology-enabled review, vendor coordination, and scalable operating procedures. Align regional capabilities with global practice standards while accommodating local legal, regulatory, linguistic, and client requirements.

- Drive regional business development by cultivating relationships with insurers, law firms, cyber incident response firms, brokers, and corporate clients; identifying engagement opportunities; supporting proposals and pricing strategies; and partnering with global practice leadership to expand the EMEA Sensitive Data Review pipeline.

- Monitor EMEA market developments, regulatory trends, client demand, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for Sensitive Data Review services. Provide regular updates to global practice leadership regarding regional pipeline development, client opportunities, delivery capacity, operational challenges, and recommended investments to support sustainable growth.

- Identify downstream opportunities for breach notification and related services while maintaining client-centered, needs-based engagement.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in law, information technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.

- Typically 6 or more years of progressive experience in eDiscovery, sensitive data review, breach response, litigation support, data privacy, or related consulting, with responsibility for managing complex projects or engagements.

- Demonstrated experience leading complex client engagements and multidisciplinary teams across EMEA.

- Demonstrated success developing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, supporting commercial proposals, and contributing to revenue growth in professional services, eDiscovery, cybersecurity, privacy, or incident response.

- Strong knowledge of review operations, Relativity or comparable platforms, quality control, reporting, and defensible delivery.

- Working knowledge of GDPR, cross-border data considerations, and breach-response workflows.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advise senior stakeholders, exercise sound commercial judgment, manage competing priorities, and resolve complex delivery issues.

- Demonstrated experience managing engagement budgets, staffing models, vendor expenditures, resource utilization, and financial performance, with an understanding of the operational factors influencing profitability.
