ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an engineering team building software for construction contractors, bringing workforce, finance, and field operations into a more connected platform. You will own complex product work from technical design through implementation and customer feedback.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the design and implementation of full-stack product features and services.
- Write technical blueprints and build modular infrastructure and reusable software components.
- Work across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and supporting systems to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Partner directly with customers and teammates to understand needs, gather feedback, and shape product decisions.
- Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical partners.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Four to nine years of software engineering experience, including experience at the Senior level.
- A strong software engineering foundation and a track record of leading development of complex products on high-performing teams.
- Balanced full-stack skills across frontend UI, backend APIs, and modular infrastructure or services.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and related web application technologies.
- A product-focused approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to take decisive ownership in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience at a high-growth startup or in vertical B2B SaaS is relevant.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $200,000 to $240,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California. The role may also be based on-site in New York City.
