Software Engineer Robotics

You will develop and tune robotics software for locomotion, whole-body control, and manipulation. You will integrate hardware and software subsystems, build and validate simulations, debug physical robots, analyze telemetry, and improve fleet tooling and deployment systems.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and tune robotics software for locomotion, whole-body control, and manipulation
- Integrate actuators, sensors, motor controllers, and onboard compute
- Develop and maintain real-time C++ control software
- Build simulation infrastructure and validate behaviors before hardware deployment
- Debug physical robots and analyze telemetry and logs
- Contribute to fleet monitoring, behavior testing, operator interfaces, and CI/CD infrastructure
- Work with teleoperation and data collection systems
Requirements- BS or MS in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 4+ years of professional robotics development experience, including physical hardware
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and real-time systems
- Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and state estimation
- Experience with embedded or low-level systems
- Knowledge of CAN, EtherCAT, Ethernet, and serial communication protocols
- Experience developing in Linux
- Ability to debug hardware-software interactions
