Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute towards defined global book of business for Kpler’s Biofuels products, covering both existing clients and new prospects.

- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying opportunities through to pitching, running trials, negotiating pricing and closing subscriptions.

- Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets through effective pipeline development, deal conversion and account growth.

- Develop a strong understanding of Kpler’s Biofuels Supply & Demand offering and the regulatory drivers shaping the market, including mandates, trade barriers and subsidies.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, delivering compelling value propositions that support commercial decision-making.

- Collaborate with Product and Research teams to ensure client feedback informs product development, market coverage and positioning.

- Partner with Marketing and Business Development to generate and nurture inbound and outbound sales opportunities.

- Maintain accurate sales reporting, pipeline management and forecasting through Salesforce.

- Monitor biofuels market developments, regulation and competitor offerings, sharing relevant insights with internal stakeholders.

- Represent Kpler and its Biofuels offering at industry events, conferences and client meetings to strengthen market presence.

Skills and Experience:

- 5+ years’ experience in a commercial or sales role, ideally with a proven track record of closing deals and achieving revenue targets in a B2B environment.

- Strong understanding of commodities and energy markets, with experience selling data-driven or research-based products.

- Ability to articulate how market intelligence and supply and demand analysis support commercial decisions in a regulation-driven market.

- Experience managing a defined book of business, with ownership of pipeline generation, client engagement, renewals and account growth.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify market trends and translate insights into client opportunities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

- Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, with disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.

- A commercially driven and collaborative approach, with the curiosity, resilience and initiative to develop new opportunities and build long-term client partnerships.

- Experience in biofuels or renewable fuels, including FAME, HVO, SAF or ethanol, and familiarity with European biofuels regulation would be advantageous.

- Experience collaborating with Product, Research and Marketing teams on go-to-market initiatives or product strategy would also be beneficial.
