Logistics Specialist
Aarke · Stockholm, Sweden
ABOUT AARKE
Aarke is a Swedish design company redefining everyday kitchen appliances. Founded in 2013, we started with a carbonator and have since taken over the kitchen countertop, turning cheap plastic products into steel design built to last. We are now a 500 MSEK company, present in more than 30 countries globally.
Growth like that puts logistics at the centre. More markets, more sales channels and new product categories all depend on a supply chain that is reliable, cost-efficient and ready to scale. We're building a scalable premium company, where you take ownership of your area, pitch in wherever needed and thrive in a positive, fast-moving culture.
THE POSITION
As Logistics Specialist, you run our warehousing operations in Europe and the UK and act as the daily link to our 3PL warehouses in Sweden and the UK. You know what's arriving, what's on the shelf and what needs to go out, and you make sure it happens on time. When something goes wrong, you decide, act and follow through. You also support transport across Europe and the UK, and you understand how every logistics decision affects cost, inventory and margin. You report to the Head of Logistics within the Operations department, headed by our COO, and work closely with Supply & Production, Sales, Sales Support, Customer Experience and Finance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Run warehousing operations in Sweden and the UK
- Manage daily communication with our 3PL warehouses and be their go-to contact at Aarke: answer questions, make day-to-day decisions and keep goods moving without delay
- Plan and coordinate incoming deliveries, check receipts and resolve discrepancies
- Follow up on warehouse performance: receiving lead times, inventory accuracy, picking accuracy and on-time shipping
- Support cycle counts, stock adjustments and reconciliation between the warehouse system and our ERP
- Coordinate value-added work at the warehouse, such as kitting, relabelling and rework, as well as transfers between warehouses
- Monitor stock levels and identify shortages and excess inventory, supporting product availability while keeping inventory investment under control
- Compare freight quotes and coordinate approved shipments
- Prepare and check shipping documents, and track deliveries through to warehouse receipt
- Check that warehouse invoices and freight costs match agreed rates
- Work closely with the Head of Logistics and your Logistics teammates to ensure smooth product flows from inbound to delivery
Data, launches and improvement
- Keep product, logistics and inventory data accurate
- Coordinate launch timelines with Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Finance
- Spot manual, repetitive work and help automate it, using AI tools where they make a difference
WHO WE AREYou're a hands-on operator who moves quickly and doesn't let things drift. You know how a warehouse works and you're comfortable making quick decisions with the information you have. You are organised and detailed, at home in a spreadsheet, and persistent about following things through. You communicate clearly with partners and colleagues, and you raise issues early rather than late. You see the whole flow, not just the next shipment, and you understand what each decision costs.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Proven experience with warehouse operations and daily cooperation with 3PL partners
- A solid understanding of end-to-end product flows, from producer through transport and warehouse to customer, and of the operations around them
- Commercial and financial awareness: you understand how logistics decisions affect cost, inventory value, cash flow and margin
- Experience with warehouse systems (WMS) and an ERP; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
- Confident in Excel: lookups, pivot tables and reconciling data across sources
- Familiarity with retailer delivery requirements or Amazon inbound is an advantage
- Comfortable using AI tools in your daily work, and checking what they produce
- Cross-functional teamwork skills
- Fluent in English, written and spoken; Swedish is a plus
WHY AARKE?Aarke was founded in Stockholm to make everyday rituals a little better, with products designed to perform and made to last. Today our products are sold around the world, yet the team behind them is still small enough that your work is visible from day one.
In this role you'll have real ownership. You'll shape how our warehousing runs in Europe and the UK, and your decisions will show up directly in what our customers experience. You'll work with people who care about getting the details right, in a company where good ideas move quickly from suggestion to practice. If you enjoy seeing the whole picture and making it run a little better every week, you'll fit right in.
