Location: Phoenix, Arizona. This is a hybrid opportunity offering a combination of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration with our Phoenix-area team.
Note: Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in Arizona, have 3+ years of attorney experience, and bring at least 1+ year of insurance defense litigation experience.

Job Description
- Handle insurance defense litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
- Develop litigation strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and potential exposure.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, developments, and recommended next steps.
- Manage discovery, deadlines, experts, and an active litigation caseload.
- Work collaboratively with partners, attorneys, and support professionals on complex defense matters.
- Assist with trial preparation and take on increasing courtroom responsibility based on experience.
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Bar license in good standing.
- 3+ years of attorney experience.
- 1+ year of insurance defense litigation experience.
- Strong legal writing, research, case management, and litigation skills.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid Phoenix environment.
- Deposition, mediation, hearing, and trial experience preferred.
