ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a small team building AI coding agents for hedge funds. As the first engineering hire, you will help mature the core product and work closely with customers to turn their research needs into reliable software.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and improve coding agents that create custom data pipelines, web scrapers, and dashboards for customers.
- Manage remote development environments and infrastructure for customer deployments.
- Work directly with customers to understand research goals and deliver tailored solutions.
- Take features from design and scoping through implementation and delivery.
- Develop agent skills, tool libraries, and scaffolding that expand platform capabilities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Two to four years of full-stack product engineering experience, with a track record of shipping work across frontend, backend, and data.
- Experience delivering applied software products end to end, rather than working exclusively in research or a single technical specialty.
- Proficiency with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, and DuckDB, plus experience with LLMs or agent frameworks.
- Experience building LLM-powered applications or coding agents, and engineering data pipelines involving scraping, API integrations, or ETL.
- Customer-facing engineering experience, including translating requirements into shipped products.
- A background or demonstrated interest in finance, investing, or financial data products is valuable.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field, with strong technical fundamentals.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $165,000 to $210,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
