Incident & Change Management DevOps Engineer

The Incident, Change & DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications and services within production and pre-production environments. This role combines operational excellence, incident management, deployment activities, troubleshooting expertise, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to support the delivery of reliable services.

Strong English communication skills are required to collaborate with international teams. French is considered a plus but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Incident & Problem Management

- Manage production incidents and service disruptions, ensuring timely diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.

- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to long-term corrective actions.

- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, database, and integration issues.

- Coordinate incident resolution activities across development, infrastructure, and business teams.

Change & Release Management

- Execute and validate application deployments in Pre-Production and Production environments.

- Review, implement, and monitor production changes in accordance with change management procedures.

- Ensure deployment quality, rollback readiness, and post-deployment validation.

- Participate in release planning and deployment coordination activities.

DevOps & Automation

- Identify repetitive operational tasks and implement automation solutions.

- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and release automation initiatives.

- Support infrastructure-as-code and configuration management practices.

Production Support & Operations

- Monitor applications, batch jobs, and business-critical processes.

- Ensure successful execution of scheduled workloads and operational processes.

- Support production environments and guarantee service continuity.

- Participate in on-call and operational support activities when required.

Documentation & Project Support

- Produce technical documentation for new projects and operational processes.

- Create deployment guides, runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and operational standards.

- Ensure knowledge transfer and operational readiness for new applications and services.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.

Database & Application Support

- Support Oracle database environments through operational SQL activities.

- Execute data validation and maintenance activities when required.

- Support integrations, file transfers, and business process workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience in Application Production Support, DevOps, SRE, or IT Operations roles.

- Proven experience managing incidents, changes, and production deployments.

- Strong Linux and Oracle troubleshooting capabilities.

- Experience with automation and scripting.

- Experience working in enterprise and business-critical environments.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service quality.
