Your role at Kanadevia Inova directly contributes to turning something once considered useless - waste - into something invaluable: energy, heat, hydrogen, fertilizer, and beyond.
- Install and maintain workstation systems, servers, and network components.
- Implement configuration specifications for systems and user interfaces.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
- Initiate escalation procedures for unresolved problems.
- Coordinate vendor and consultant activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and track hardware, software, and network availability and inventory.
- Develop and maintain operations manuals, instructions, and checklists.
- Assist users with procurement projects and solution implementations.
- Create simple scripts and applications for user needs on workstations and mobile devices.
- Act as a senior operational coordinator, supporting team priorities and providing guidance in the manager’s absence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or Vocational Training (apprenticeship).
- Proven 4+ years of experience in a similar senior IT role in a mid- to large-sized company (150+ users).
- Experience managing third-party services.
- Strong operational skills in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL and process improvement methodologies.
- Assertive, independent, and methodical work style.
- Proactive thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate and guide team members without formal line management responsibility.
- Fluent in English with good German language knowledge.
