ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage AI company building software to automate wholesale operations for consumer goods brands. As a forward-deployed founding engineer, you will own customer integrations end to end, connecting the product with the systems that power customer workflows.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain integrations with customer ERPs, warehouse management systems, freight platforms, and EDI providers.
- Meet with customers to understand existing workflows, gather requirements, and map data between systems.
- Design data mappings for systems whose entities and workflows do not align one-to-one.
- Develop event-driven workflows, webhooks, and data pipelines across customer technology stacks.
- Build customer-facing integration interfaces using TypeScript and React when needed.
- Participate in on-call support for production issues affecting customer operations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Six to seven years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.
- Strong TypeScript skills and experience building production integrations using APIs, data mapping, EDI, middleware, or ETL.
- Experience owning end-to-end data integrations across multiple customer systems, including data modeling.
- Experience with React, relational databases such as Postgres, and preferably Next.js and Supabase or similar tools.
- Background in logistics, supply chain, freight, CPG, or related enterprise software is valuable.
- Experience at an early-stage startup or in a high-ownership, ambiguous environment.
- Based in LATAM, able to work LATAM time zones with overlap during core Eastern Time collaboration hours, and comfortable communicating fluently in English with US-based customers.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation is $7,000 to $10,000 USD per month. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
Remote in LATAM, with working hours that overlap with Eastern Time.
