ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a product-focused mobile team building and scaling a consumer marketplace iOS app. You will own features from early product ideas through launch, helping shape the app's architecture and deliver a polished experience for creators.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and ship native iOS features using Swift, owning the full lifecycle from idea to launch.
- Define and evolve the iOS architecture as the mobile team grows.
- Create fast, polished interfaces and interactions for app users.
- Investigate production issues and improve app reliability and performance.
- Help establish engineering practices and standards for the mobile team.
- Work across product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end outcomes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to five or more years of professional iOS development experience, with strong hands-on Swift skills.
- Experience building or scaling iOS apps, including familiarity with MVVM or similar architectural patterns.
- Strong understanding of iOS fundamentals, the iOS SDK, software architecture, REST APIs, and asynchronous data handling.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and turn ambiguous problems into shipped product outcomes.
- Product instincts and attention to detail in interface design and user experience.
- Experience contributing to a product at scale and working in a startup, high-growth, or design-focused environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools, models, and agent-driven workflows is valued.
- Experience with consumer products, marketplaces, or gamified products is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary range: $130,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
On-site in New York, United States, five days per week.
