Industrial Engineer

Price Industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support our growing Water Coil manufacturing operations at our Progress plant in Lawrenceville, GA.

This role will focus on improving the manufacturing systems, processes, and material flow used to produce hydronic heating and cooling coils. The Industrial Engineer will work directly with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Purchasing to increase capacity, reduce manufacturing costs, improve productivity, and support continued growth of the Water Coil product line.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives within Water Coil manufacturing.

Analyze production processes, labor requirements, cycle times, capacity, and material flow to identify improvement opportunities.

Develop and optimize manufacturing layouts, work cells, production flow, and operator workstations.

Establish and improve standard work, labor standards, work instructions, and production methods.

Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including flow manufacturing, 5S, visual management, Kanban, and waste reduction.

Identify manufacturing constraints and develop solutions to improve throughput and production capacity.

Support automation, equipment upgrades, tooling improvements, and capital projects.

Use production data and root cause analysis to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Qualifications

-

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.

1+ year of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience, including internships or co-ops.

Experience with manufacturing process improvement, production flow, time studies, or capacity analysis preferred.

-

Experience with coil manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, copper tube processing, brazing, assembly, or similar manufacturing processes is an asset.

Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement projects.

Experience supporting automation or capital equipment projects is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.

Ability to evaluate manufacturing processes from both a technical and operational perspective.

-

Knowledge of brazing processes, equipment, joint design, or process controls is considered an asset.

Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.

-

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP and manufacturing systems preferred.

Experience with AutoCAD or similar layout/CAD software is an asset.
