Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage procurement activities for a logistics company, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, reliable supplier relationships, and timely availability of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers.
- Manage purchasing of logistics, transportation, warehousing, and operational requirements.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, costs, and delivery timelines.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement policy compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within logistics or supply chain.
- Strong supplier network and negotiation skills.
- Experience in cost control, vendor management, and purchasing operations.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- English required; Arabic is an advantage.
- Saudi market experience preferred.
