About the Role

The SharePoint and Power BI Developer will enhance SharePoint sites, reporting tools and the broader Power BI reporting environment. The role will focus on improving collaboration, data quality, governance, reporting capability and management oversight.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop practical technical solutions and support ongoing administration through documentation, training and knowledge transfer.

Major Responsibilities

- Develop and enhance SharePoint Online sites to support collaboration and business requirements.

- Build SharePoint pages, libraries, forms and workflows.

- Implement and maintain permissions, access controls and information management practices.

- Develop and improve Power BI reports, dashboards and datasets.

- Enhance and maintain existing reporting tools and environments.

- Integrate data from approved sources and implement reporting improvements.

- Ensure reporting products are accurate, reliable and appropriately documented.

- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement collaboration and reporting requirements

Secondary Responsibilities

- Develop guidance materials to support the ongoing administration of SharePoint solutions.

- Deliver user training, knowledge transfer and technical support.

- Develop user guides, technical documentation and handover materials.

- Support solution testing, deployment and transition activities.

- Document permissions, access management and information governance arrangements.

- Develop forms, workflows and automation solutions where required.

Desired Qualifications or Experience

- Experience developing and administering SharePoint Online solutions.

- Experience developing and enhancing Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

- Experience working within Microsoft 365 environments.

- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

- Experience managing permissions, access controls and information governance requirements.

- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.

- Ability to develop quality technical and user documentation.

- Experience delivering training and knowledge transfer activities.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.

Location: Canberra, ACT

Work Environment: Full-time onsite

Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work environment, applicants must hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
