Manager, Commercial Enablement & Strategy
HeartFlow · Rohnert Park, California; San Francisco, California
Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. The flagship product—an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test supported by the ACC/AHA Chest Pain Guidelines called the Heartflow FFRCT Analysis—provides a color-coded, 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries indicating the impact blockages have on blood flow to the heart. Heartflow is the first AI-driven non-invasive integrated heart care solution across the CCTA pathway that helps clinicians identify stenoses in the coronary arteries (RoadMap™Analysis), assess coronary blood flow (FFRCT Analysis), and characterize and quantify coronary atherosclerosis (Plaque Analysis). Our pipeline of products is growing and so is our team; join us in helping to revolutionize precision heartcare.
Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) that has received international recognition for exceptional strides in healthcare innovation, is supported by medical societies around the world, cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, and has been used for more than 750,000 patients worldwide.
This is a high-impact role for an MBA graduate who wants to turn commercial strategy into field execution at a category-defining medical technology company. As Manager, Commercial Enablement & Strategy, you will be the bridge between commercial leadership, the field, and corporate functions including Marketing, Sales Training, Medical Education, and Revenue Operations. You will own the strategy, tools, playbooks, and processes that help Regional Business Managers (RBMs) and Territory Account Managers (TAMs) accelerate adoption of the Heartflow platform, with a primary focus on Plaque Analysis and Heartflow FFRCT Analysis, and success is measured by field utilization, adoption, and the commercial outcomes your work drives.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Market strategy and segmentation: Partner with commercial leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategy that changes the standard of care for coronary artery disease. Define and refine segmentation, targeting, and prioritization to drive physician adoption and demand.
- Playbooks, tools, and resources: Build the commercial playbooks, account plans, value materials, and resources that standardize and accelerate adoption, and work with field leadership to make sure they are used.
- Enablement roadmap and launch readiness: Own the enablement roadmap for new products, features, and indications so the field is ready at launch. Work with Sales Training to integrate tools and best practices into onboarding and ongoing training.
- Field engagement: Conduct targeted field visits with RBMs and TAMs to validate strategies, gather real-time feedback, and refine enablement resources, fostering “One Team” collaboration across the commercial organization.
- CRM and sales operations: Drive CRM evolution to improve simplicity, usability, efficiency, and performance visibility, and ensure tools and analytics directly support TAM execution and account growth.
- Analytics, KPIs, and forecasting: Partner with Revenue Operations on KPI development, dashboards, and growth strategy. Analyze funnel, adoption, utilization, and ramp-time data and turn it into clear recommendations for leadership.
- Commercial optimization: Work with Finance and commercial leaders to evaluate coverage models, resource allocation, and pricing and contracting frameworks, and identify opportunities to improve sales productivity and efficiency.
- Cross-functional partnerships: Partner with Marketing on messaging and content, Medical Education on physician engagement programs, and Commercial Operations on scalable execution, aligning every team to a single commercial plan.
- Market intelligence: Track market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights, and bring field feedback back into strategy, messaging, tools, and processes.
- Compliance: Work with Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and Medical teams so that enablement materials and programs go through the required review processes and meet applicable requirements.
- AI-native workflows: Put AI tools and LLMs to work in enablement content, commercial analysis, and field workflows, helping set the pace for how a modern commercial team operates.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strategic thinking: The ability to frame ambiguous commercial problems, size opportunities, and defend recommendations with data and clear rationale.
- Analytical rigor: Comfort with CRM data, funnel and utilization metrics, and commercial finance, and the judgment to know which numbers matter. Advanced Excel skills.
- Execution: A bias for action, strong project management, and a track record of taking programs from plan to measurable results.
- Influence without authority: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rally Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Revenue Operations, and field partners around a shared plan.
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to turn strategy into something a field team can use in a five-minute customer conversation.
- Customer and field curiosity: Genuine interest in how clinicians, health systems, and field teams work, and a habit of grounding decisions in observed practice rather than assumption.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Self-motivated and flexible, and comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where priorities evolve. AI mindset and comfort leveraging LLMs and modern tools.
