The Role:
We're currently 10 full-time engineers on the team. Engineers here own full features from design handoff through production, work across the stack, and are expected to move fast. There's no defined specialization – you'll touch whatever needs to get done.
The product has three main technical areas:
- App & social layer – groups, feeds, in-game chat, onboarding, user profiles
- Game engine – building real-time games
- Payments & compliance – deposits, withdrawals, KYC, geo-fencing, AML, etc.
Location: New York, NY (in-office).
You will:
- Own full features from design handoff through production
- Work across the stack and move fast, touching whatever needs to get done
- Build across the product's three main technical areas: the app and social layer, the game engine, and payments and compliance
Qualifications:
- BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field – recent graduates (2023–2026) encouraged.
- Some hands-on development experience: internships, full-time roles, and/or personal projects.
- Attention to detail, particularly on frontend/UI implementation and overall user flows.
- Willingness to work in-office full-time in New York (must be able to relocate by October 2026).
- Strong work ethic and comfort operating in an environment with ambiguity.
TypeScript, Java, React Native, SQL, and AWS are relevant to what we build. Poker knowledge is not required.
