Who is Boulevard?

Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses. We empower our customers to give their clients more of the magical moments that matter most.

Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business. Our roots may be in hair salons, but we are built for the broader self-care industry, including many types of salons, spas, medspa, barbershops, and more. Our technology not only helps our customers survive but thrive. Take a look at how we (and YOU) can make that happen.

We have an insatiable curiosity and embrace experimentation. We believe that simple solutions require the most sophistication, and we design each and every detail to maximize potential, power, and impact. Do our values match? Read through our story and what we value the most.

Our team values and celebrates our diverse backgrounds. Being open about who we are and what we do allows us to do the best work of our lives. We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too.

Come do the best work of your life at Boulevard.

We’re looking for a senior, hands-on IT leader to modernize and scale our corporate technology function as we grow. You’ll be the technical owner of our corporate IT environment, strengthening day-to-day operations while building the systems, automation, governance, and service standards we need for a more proactive and scalable function.

This is a high-impact player-coach role for someone who enjoys moving between strategy and execution. You’ll improve everything from identity, access, and endpoint management to employee onboarding, system health, and self-service, while partnering across the business to elevate our security, resilience, and employee technology experience. We’re small enough that your work is visible every day, and as the function evolves, you’ll help shape its structure, capabilities, and investment priorities.

What you’ll do here:

- Own our corporate IT environment as the senior technical owner across systems, applications, endpoints, identity infrastructure, and the employee technology experience.

- Assess existing systems, processes, and controls to find gaps, reduce risk, and build a proactive, scalable IT operating model.

- Lead improvements across applications, integrations, workflows, self-service, and AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual work.

- Strengthen lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, access governance, device management, SaaS administration, and asset lifecycle processes.

- Set clear documentation, metrics, service expectations, and support practices that create a consistent, effective employee experience.

- Act as the escalation point for challenging technical issues, drive root-cause resolution, and eliminate recurring friction.

- Partner with Security, People, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and business leaders on technology, compliance, access, continuity, and operational priorities.

- Manage key vendors and technology partners, and help define our longer-term IT roadmap, team structure, capability gaps, and investment priorities.

What you’ll need to thrive:

- 10+ years of progressive experience across corporate IT, enterprise technology, IT operations, workplace technology, or related disciplines.

- Experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment, adapting systems and processes as the organization’s needs evolve.

- Strong expertise across identity and access management, endpoint management, SaaS administration, asset lifecycle management, and IT service delivery.

- A player-coach approach: the ability to balance hands-on technical execution with leadership, mentorship, prioritization, and long-term planning.

- Proven success leading complex IT initiatives from problem identification through implementation, adoption, and operationalization.

- A scalable, automation-first mindset, with experience building standards, controls, documentation, metrics, integrations, self-service workflows, and AI-enabled capabilities.

- Strong business judgment: you influence senior stakeholders and partner across Security, People, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and other functions, backed by working knowledge of security, compliance, incident management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

- A plus: experience with vendor management, technology rationalization, contract renewals, or spend optimization.

- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.

How we’ll take care of you:

At Boulevard, we work hard to structure compensation in a way that balances internal equity with local market competitiveness, and we're happy to share a good-faith estimate of the base salary range for this role. For candidates in NYC, the SF Bay Area, and Seattle, the anticipated base salary range is $150,000 - $177,000 per year. For all other U.S. locations, the anticipated base salary range is $136,000 - $160,000 per year. In addition to this base compensation, this role may be eligible to participate in a variable compensation program. Final compensation will vary based on a variety of factors which include but are not limited to applicable experience, location, and final leveling.

- Competitive base pay and performance bonus eligibility because you deserve to be rewarded for your impact.

- Fully remote with support, including a $200 home office setup allowance and a $50 monthly WFH reimbursement so your workspace is set up for success.
