Rubix Solutions is partnering with a leading defence prime to recruit a TSPV cleared Business Analyst supporting customers across complex, secure environments.
You’ll work at the intersection of operational needs and technical delivery, helping stakeholders define what they need, understand what must change and introduce new capabilities effectively.
This role suits someone who can take ownership of the BA function within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll bring structure to ambiguous problems, ask the right questions and translate complex information into requirements that engineers and business stakeholders can act on.
What you’ll do: - Identify stakeholders and understand their objectives, needs and constraints.
- Lead scoping discussions and facilitate workshops to establish priorities.
- Elicit, document and validate business and system requirements.
- Map current and future processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop clear, audience-appropriate artefacts that explain requirements, processes and proposed changes.
- Work closely with engineering teams to connect business needs with technical delivery.
- Build stakeholder agreement on improvement plans and capability changes.
- Prepare business change materials to support the rollout of new capabilities.
- Research potential tools and solutions against customer requirements.
- Contribute to proposals, identify opportunities for further customer support and share knowledge across the consulting team.
What you’ll bring: - Demonstrated business analysis experience, ideally within Defence, government or another complex environment.
- Experience authoring requirements at different levels and defining as-is and to-be processes.
- Confidence facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders across technical disciplines and seniority levels.
- The ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with engineering teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
- A flexible approach to changing priorities and varied consulting assignments.
- The confidence to operate independently as the BA within a broader delivery team.
Experience in a lead BA capacity would be highly regarded.
Security clearance and travel You must hold a current Positive Vetting (PV/TSPV) clearance. Candidates holding NV2 clearance with an OSA may be considered.
