Project Manager - Digital Transformation

Based at our global headquarters in South Brisbane, this newly created 12-month Transformation PM contract role offers a unique opportunity to partner with senior leaders and influence organisation-wide change.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Manager - Strategic Execution, you will contribute to our Digital Transformation Programme, including the delivery and adoption of emerging AI-enabled solutions. Working closely with executive leaders, technology teams and operational stakeholders, you will help identify, prioritise and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency, improve decision-making and create meaningful business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how innovative technologies and artificial intelligence are leveraged across a large and growing healthcare organisation.

This role combines project management, stakeholder engagement, governance, reporting and business analysis, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the delivery of digital transformation and AI-related projects across multiple business functions.

- Partner with operational and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation and AI adoption.

- Support business case development, benefits realisation and ROI measurement for digital initiatives.

- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, map processes and identify improvement opportunities.

- Monitor project risks associated with technology implementation, change adoption and data governance.

- Develop executive reporting and dashboards to track programme progress, benefits and performance metrics.

- Collaborate with IT, data, cybersecurity and business leaders to ensure initiatives align with organisational standards and strategic priorities.

- Support change management activities to drive user adoption of new technologies and ways of working.

- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and recommend practical applications that improve operational effectiveness and employee experience.

About You

You are an organised and commercially minded project professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently engage stakeholders at all levels.

You will bring:

- Proven experience delivering complex projects, transformation programs or strategic initiatives.

- Strong project management and business analysis capability.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience interpreting data and translating insights into practical recommendations.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Confidence preparing reports and presentations for senior leaders.

- Experience using Microsoft Project, Planner, Teams and the Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful, you will ideally possess:

- Minimum five years' experience in project management, business analysis or a similar transformation-focused role.

- Strong understanding of project and change management methodologies.

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups.

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

- Previous experience in healthcare, digital transformation, finance, operational improvement or large-scale change programs will be advantageous.
