How you'll contribute
A Paramedic who excels in this role:
- Perform direct patient care under the direction of an emergency physician.
- Respond to emergency medical calls and provide basic life support (BLS) under supervision or within scope of noncertified practice
- Assist certified paramedics and EMTs with patient care, assessment, and transport
- Perform basic patient monitoring, including vital signs and observation of condition changes
- Support scene safety, patient packaging, and preparation for transport
- Clean, restock, and maintain ambulances and medical equipment in accordance with protocols and infection control standards
- Also perform administrative, clerical, and clinical duties as assigned by the RN.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and Graduate from an accredited EMT program. Additional requirements include:
- Current state Paramedic certification/licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical protocols, patient assessment, and pre-hospital care standards
- Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced emergency situations with strong critical thinking skills
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move patients and equipment in various field conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordination with EMS, hospital staff, and first responders
