As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will create engaging, organized, and meaningful learning opportunities that help associates build confidence, develop skills, and understand the standards and expectations that guide success across the resort. Serving as the lead facilitator for associate orientation programs and a key contributor to learning initiatives across Team Nemacolin, you will guide associates through important moments in their development while partnering with leaders to deliver effective training programs. This role offers an opportunity to strengthen facilitation expertise, influence the associate experience, and contribute to a workplace committed to continuous learning and growth.

What You Will Create

- Meaningful introductions to Team Nemacolin by leading orientation programs for new associates, facilitating learning activities, and helping participants understand the standards, expectations, resources, and opportunities available throughout the resort

- Learning experiences that strengthen knowledge, confidence, and performance through organized training programs, workshops, learning resources, and developmental opportunities

- Strong connections across the resort by leading property tours and helping associates become familiar with the people, places, services, and experiences that make Team Nemacolin unique

- Consistent and accessible learning resources by maintaining training materials, learning records, communications, schedules, and program documentation

- Continued learning and professional growth by reinforcing brand ambassador expectations and supporting workshops, development programs, and ongoing associate learning opportunities across Team Nemacolin

- Strong partnerships with leaders and associates by coordinating learning initiatives, responding to training needs, and helping create a positive and engaging learning environment

- Reliable program execution through effective coordination of logistics, scheduling, materials, communications, and learning-related administrative processes

- A highly interactive role that combines facilitation, coordination, communication, and relationship-building across departments and teams

- Frequent collaboration with leaders, associates, Human Resources Department partners, and subject matter experts to support learning and development priorities

- Opportunities to facilitate workshops, support development programs, coordinate learning events, and contribute to associate growth across the resort

- Responsibility for managing schedules, materials, records, communications, and other details that support effective learning experiences

- Exposure to a wide range of departments, operational functions, and leadership teams across Nemacolin

- Opportunities to strengthen facilitation, training, communication, and organizational-development expertise while building a career within Human Resources and Learning & Development

- A flexible schedule that may occasionally include evenings, weekends, or special events based on business and operational needs

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, education, communications, hospitality, business administration, or a related field preferred

- Minimum of two years of experience in training, facilitation, learning and development, human resources, hospitality operations, education, communications, or a related field

- Previous experience facilitating presentations, workshops, orientations, training sessions, or group learning experiences preferred

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information confidently and effectively to diverse audiences

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Ability to learn and effectively utilize learning-management systems, human resources systems, and other technology supporting associate development initiatives

- Ability to communicate effectively in English

- Ability to stand and facilitate presentations for extended periods and perform the physical requirements associated with conducting training programs and learning events
