Senior Patient Transporter - Central Transportation

Under the direction of the Supervisor - Patient Transportation, this role maintains departmental services, providing a centralized knowledge base for all departmental duties and functions, including Lift Tech, Dispatch, Courier, and Transportation programs. Adheres to and ensures departmental adherence to all established facility policies and procedures to include quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control programs by coaching staff, sound decision making, maintaining the safe, proper function of all patient movement equipment, and reporting issues to Supervisors. Minimal supervision required.

Required Qualifications:
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months Patient Transportation and/or Dispatching experience.
- 6 months Customer service experience, preferably in a health care setting.
