AWS DevOps Engineer (US-based)
About the Role
We’re a small fintech startup building a secure SaaS platform in a regulated industry. We’re looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to own and improve our cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, observability, and production operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can balance reliability, security, developer experience, and cost in a growing environment.

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain secure, reliable AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code
- Operate containerized production workloads and managed data services
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and environment promotion
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational dashboards
- Lead incident investigation and improve systems based on lessons learned
- Maintain backup, recovery, secrets-management, and access-control practices
- Automate repetitive operational work and improve developer workflows
- Support security, vulnerability-management, and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with application engineers from development through production
